Workspace Management

The workspace panel on the left side of the editor manages your scenario and map files.

File Types

  • Scenario files (.osc) — OpenSCENARIO 2 scenarios that define traffic scenario logic and behavior
  • Map files (.xodr) — OpenDRIVE maps that describe road network geometry and topology

Importing Files

Click the "Import Map" or "Import Scenario" button and select the appropriate file from the file picker.

Opening a Scenario

In the scenario list, click the ▶ button next to a file to open it in the editor.

Map Usage

Maps provide the road network for scenarios. When previewing a scenario, the associated map is automatically loaded and rendered in the 3D view. Scenarios reference maps by their filename.

File Operations

All file operations are available via the right-click context menu:

  • Delete — Right-click a file and select "Delete"
  • Copy File Name — Right-click a file and select "Copy File Name"

Data Persistence

All workspace files are automatically saved in the browser and survive page refresh. Data will be lost if browser data is cleared, so regularly export important files.

Editing Scenarios

When a scenario is opened in the editor, it supports syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and real-time error detection. Click "Preview" after editing to see the result in the 3D view.
